چکیده

In this study, Tea Tree Oil, (Timorex Gold), Orange Oil (Prev-Am), Reynoutria spp. extract (Regalia), Bacillus subtilis QST 713 (Serenade SC), Lactobacillus acidophilus, paracasei (Vitanal) and a reference product Fluopyram+Tebuconazole (Luna Experience) were applied to pepper plants determine the efficacy against powdery mildew disease caused by Leveillula taurica (Lev.) Arm on pepper. The was evaluated based 0-5 scale when reached 20% untreated plots. Trials established as randomized plot design with four replications. severity assessed using Towsend-Heuberger’s formula percentage effect of applications calculated Abbott formula. conducted experiments revealed that highest % values preparations obtained from Timorex Gold (80%), Prev-Am (45%), Regalia (44.7%), Serenade (26.3%) Vitanal (26.2%), respectively. product, Luna Experience, in found 89%. It has been concluded preparation performed enough taurica, can be safely used offered mildew.

Loss of Function in Mlo Orthologs Reduces Susceptibility of Pepper and Tomato to Powdery Mildew Disease Caused by Leveillula taurica

Powdery mildew disease caused by Leveillula taurica is a serious fungal threat to greenhouse tomato and pepper production. In contrast to most powdery mildew species which are epiphytic, L. taurica is an endophytic fungus colonizing the mesophyll tissues of the leaf. In barley, Arabidopsis, tomato and pea, the correct functioning of specific homologues of the plant Mlo gene family has been foun...

Molecular Mapping of PMR1, a Novel Locus Conferring Resistance to Powdery Mildew in Pepper (Capsicum annuum)

Powdery mildew, caused by Leveillula taurica, is a major fungal disease affecting greenhouse-grown pepper (Capsicum annuum). Powdery mildew resistance has a complex mode of inheritance. In the present study, we investigated a novel powdery mildew resistance locus, PMR1, using two mapping populations: 102 'VK515' F2:3 families (derived from a cross between resistant parental line 'VK515R' and su...

FIRST RECORD OF GENUS LEVEILLULA ON A MEMBER OF THE MORACEAE: Leveillula taurica ON Ficus carica

A powdery mildew fungus Leveillula taurica (Erysiphales) is reported for the first time on fig tree (Ficus carica) (Moraceae) in Sistan region, Iran. One hundred fungal organs including clistothecia, asci, ascospores and conidia, were micrometried by the calibrated Olympus BH2 microscope. All characters of the organs were recorded and drawn using a drawing tube. Conidiophores were with cylindri...
